I believe very strongly that all individuals deserve kind, compassionate and equitable care. I truly believe that as a medical professional that it is my responsibility, and honor, to advocate for individuals who may not be able to do so for themselves. Caring for youth has been one of the greatest pleasures in my work as a nurse and nurse practitioner. I love the energy and honesty that young people bring to a visit.

I love that we have the opportunity to help adoloscents with SUD before they're an adult. If they need the help now then why wait until they become 18. I'm part of this team because I would want someone to help and care my children with the compassion I have as well.
