Call for support

What if I’m not ready to quit?

That's okay — you don't have to be. Many of our patients come to Boulder while they're still using, and we meet you wherever you are. Whether you want to reduce your use, stop using some substances, or just explore what treatment could look like for you, we'll work with you to create a plan based on your goals. We don't have abstinence requirements, and we'll never discharge you for returning to use or not being "ready enough."

Is the information I share private?

Yes. Your privacy is one of our top priorities. Everything you share with Boulder is kept completely confidential, whether it's through video visits, messaging with your care team, or anything else within the Boulder app. Our platform is secure and HIPAA-compliant, and we will never share your personal information without your permission.

What medications do you prescribe for opioid use disorder?

Our clinicians work with each patient to create a medication plan that’s best for them. We most often prescribe buprenorphine medications because they are safe and effective tools for reaching recovery goals and living longer, healthier lives. At Boulder, we combine medication treatment with expert medical care, peer recovery coaching, and care coordination. Our care teams work to ensure each patient has the medication, knowledge, and social support to pursue their personal recovery goals.

What is telehealth?

Treatment through Boulder is entirely digital, which means that patients meet and connect with their providers through secure video and messaging in the Boulder App on their smartphones.

Offering treatment via telehealth makes care easy to access anytime, anywhere — patients complete visits from home or wherever they feel most comfortable. They can pick up prescriptions at their local pharmacy or can often have medications mailed to them.

How much does Boulder Care cost?

Visits through Boulder are often covered by insurance — you can check your coverage here. If you aren’t covered, call us at (888) 377-9657, and we can walk you through our affordable self-pay options.

Most insurance companies will also cover the cost of medications we typically prescribe. If not, we use programs like GoodRx to bring the cost of some medications down to about $40/week. Exact costs will vary based on your location and pharmacy options.
